The objective of this workshop is to develop your knowledge and sharpen your negoitiation skills in order to achieve successful outcomes. Once you know how to ask the other person the right questions and then find a collaborative solution you will experience the joy of ‘win - win’ and this experiential workshop will facilitate you to do that.

Programme Content

  • Introduction to Interest-based Negotiations
    • How to find common ground
    • Define the differences between issues, positions, and interests
  • Interest-based Negotiations
    • A series of small group discussions and exercises.
  • Negotiation Exercise
    • Participants simulate a negotiation to improve negotiation skills and tactics.
  • Circle of Concern / Circle of Influence
    • Participants discuss negotiation situations, as well as their own experience with negotiations, and then engage in a final small group negotiation exercise.

Duration & Mode of Delivery

In this one day workshop you will learn the essential skills to negotiate an agreement by engaging in a number of challenging scenarios. The outcomes will be critiqued and you will receive constructive feedback on your performance.
