Background

The aim of this programme is to provide managers and aspiring leaders with the opportunity to develop their coaching skills to support their staff and to embed a coaching culture.

Learning Objectives

  • To attend six 3-hour workshops over six months focusing on the key skills needed for carrying out coaching in the work context.
  • To share models, methods, and techniques that learners can subsequently apply in their coaching practice.

  • On completion each delegate will have a personal development plan to help them develop their knowledge, skills and experiences.

Learning Outcomes

Each delegate will have the confidence to use coaching in conversations with others and in the development of their teams and peers.

The positive impact of the application of the coaching skills will be recognised through ‘Investors in People’ assessment.
