Overview

This workshop provides ‘hands on’ training on how to make an effective presentation. It will equip participants with the skills to get their message across confidently and with style.

Programme Content

  • Know how to plan and structure your presentation
  • One minute presentations
  • Playback and critique
  • The ‘do’s and don’ts’ of presentations – 'Hook' the listener, find a 'peg' to hang  your story, ensure your audience remembers your key points and know how to 'read your audience'.
  • Strategies for nerves
  • Three minute presentations
  • Critique

Participants will be invited to bring a speech or script.

Duration & Mode of Delivery

In this one day workshop you will build confidence, your presentation will be critiqued and you will be advised on how to target the content for particular audiences. You will also make several presentations to camera and receive constructive feedback.
